Terms of Service
These terms apply to every purchase made through belnesto.com. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them together with our Returns & Refunds policy, our Shipping policy and our Privacy policy.
1. Who we are
Belnesto, Gottliebenstrasse 6, 8280 Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. You can reach us any time through our contact page.
2. Orders and contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract comes into effect when we send you an order confirmation by e-mail. We may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if a price was clearly wrong, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we decline after payment, you are refunded in full.
3. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in the currency of your selected country and include all applicable taxes and import duties for that country, as set out in our Shipping policy. Shipping is free. We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store your card details. If a payment is reversed or charged back without first contacting us, we may suspend further orders.
5. Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs are illustrative; colours can differ slightly between screens, and handmade or natural materials vary. Measurements are approximate and may deviate by up to 2 cm. Please check the size guide on the product page before ordering.
6. Use of our products — please read
Our products are pet accessories for everyday comfort and convenience. They are not safety equipment, medical devices or veterinary products.
Our car and travel products are comfort and containment accessories. They have not been crash-tested and must not be relied on as a restraint system in a collision. Always follow the road traffic rules of your country regarding animals in vehicles.
Supervise your pet when a product is first introduced. Check regularly for wear, loose parts or damage and stop using a product that is damaged. Keep packaging away from animals and children. If your pet has a health condition, ask your vet before use.
We are not liable for damage caused by use that does not follow these instructions or the instructions supplied with the product.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photographs, graphics, logos and the name Belnesto — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use this site unlawfully, do not attempt to interfere with it, and do not scrape or resell its content. We may close an account or refuse service where these terms are broken.
9. Reviews and submissions
If you submit a review, photo or comment, you confirm it is your own and you allow us to display it on our site and channels. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading or offensive.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you — including the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the consumer protection law of your Canadian province or US state. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, customs action, carrier failure or interruptions to communications networks. We will tell you as soon as we can and, if the delay is substantial, you may cancel and be refunded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, with the courts of Kreuzlingen, Switzerland having jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
